There is some basic information on this website regarding your rights in family, housing and other areas of law. If you believe you are eligible for legal aid, you can call their free advice line on 0845 3454 345. If you are not eligible and you can privately fund your case, please do get back in contact with Contact Law and we will put you in touch with a cost-effective solicitor.

Employment Law
Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS):

ACAS can advise on basic points of law and explain if it's worthwhile approaching a solicitor. If they suggest that you do seek formal legal advice, please do get back in contact with Contact Law and we will put you in touch with a cost-effective solicitor for your case.

Small Claims (under £10,000)
People who are chasing a debt under £10k who don't want to pay for a solicitor can make a claim via the Small Claims Court.
