Family law and children

One of the most difficult aspects of family law is ensuring the well-being of children. They are often caught up in divorce matters, and the courts will always attempt to put the interests of the child first. In an ideal situation the matter wouldn’t get as far as the courts, and mediation would resolve any matters, but again, in this instance, the welfare of children is a priority.

We have created pages on several matters of importance, including:

  • Adoption
  • Child maintenance
  • Protection

In the General information section, you can find information on further topics relating to the law and children.
