Findlaw.co.uk Portal Manager position
FindLaw UK is a fast-growing company that acts as a broker/ agent for law firms, attracting clients through the internet and other mediums. The company runs several websites, one of which is Findlaw.co.uk, the sister site to Findlaw.com, the largest legal information website in the US. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced website manager or copy writer/editor to join a successful young company which is going from strength to strength.
The role will involve being responsible for all Findlaw.co.uk activities, more specifically:
- Writing daily blogs on news stories with a legal perspective
- Writing daily posts and answers on the forum, responding to legal queries
- Managing content and design of the site to ensure it is up-to-date, accurate and driven to provide for both the user and website strategy
- Management/resourcing of external content writers producing copy for the site
- Implementation of basic SEO strategy in conjunction with in-house expert
- Initiation, progression and implementation of marketing opportunities for findlaw.co.uk
- Providing data-driven input to findlaw.co.uk content-writing team so as to meet the natural search visitor and enquiry goals
- Performance reporting and monitoring of all online channels
- Evaluation of new marketing techniques (such as social media) that Contact Law could adopt, and implementation of chosen techniques
- Project management of other technology-related projects as and when appropriate
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Excellent blog-writing and communication skills
- Strong legal knowledge to aid with article/blog writing
- Technical on-page strategy knowledge and skills
- Be able to create, justify, communicate and implement different website strategies
- Be able to assess the performance of SEO activity
- Experience in link strategies and social media marketing is desirable
