Conveyancing course

A conveyancer is a specialist legal adviser who deals with the many different elements of buying and selling properties, land or bulk commodities (such as gas). They could either be a general solicitor who practises other fields of law too, or they could be a specialist licensed conveyancer. Many people prefer to instruct the latter as they will have completed a conveyancing course by taking the exams and training set by the Council of Licensed Conveyancers which denotes quality. When it comes to matters of law, reputable quality must come above all else.

The conveyancing course will cover all aspects of conveyancing such as conducting both Land Registry and local-authority searches of any potential issues (for example the future building of a motorway behind a house), how to complete financial transactions, how to prepare contracts and how to act for and take instructions from a buyer and mortgage lender at the same time.

Conveyancing can be complex and so completing a conveyancing course is ideal for those who wish to enhance their career as a conveyancer as a license is always reputable. Additionally, property law is often subject to changes so a conveyancing course may help those who wish to update their conveyancing knowledge.
